Reegan Mullaney earned her first MAAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week award on Wednesday.
The Edina, MN native earned four victories during an undefeated week in the Saints' pair of 4-3 wins against Le Moyne and Binghamton this past Saturday and Sunday.
Against Le Moyne, Mullaney defeated Alicia Alvarez 6-7 (3), 6-4, 6-3 at the singles No. 5 position for the clinching win. Earlier in the match, Mullaney teamed with playing partner
Selma Bellaouchi to top the team of Lilia Raiss and Emma Sanchez Jimenez 6-3 at the doubles No. 3 position.
On Sunday, Mullaney capped the winning weekend with another clincher—this time a 6-3, 6-3 victory against No. 5 singles player Samantha Jaros.
In doubles play, Mullaney and Bellaouchi beat the duo of Nitya Vyas and Jaros 6-2 at the doubles No. 3 spot.
The Saints (7-1) will be back in action Saturday, Feb. 28 at 7:15 p.m. against Bryant in Smithfield, RI.
