Siena Women's Golf closed out play at the Sacred Heart Spring Break Invite on Tuesday, finishing fifth in the six-team field with a 36-hole total of 647 (+71). The Saints recorded a final round score of 337 (+49) after opening the tournament with a 310 (+22) on Monday.
Julia Kret led the way for Siena, tying for ninth place overall at +11. She followed up an opening round 82 with a team-best 73 (+1) in Tuesday's final round to climb the leaderboard.
Emely Kintzel also finished inside the top 15, tying for 11th at +12. Kintzel carded rounds of 75 and 81 across the two days of competition.
Emily Rensch rounded out Siena's scoring group, placing 25th overall at +18.
As a team, Siena sat in fifth after round one and maintained that position following Tuesday's final 18 holes. Sacred Heart captured the team title at +39, followed closely by Manhattan (+40) and Fairfield (+41).
The event, originally scheduled for 54 holes, was shortened to 36 due to weather conditions, with Monday's second round halted by rain before play resumed and concluded on Tuesday.
Siena returns to action on Monday, Apr. 6, at the St. John's Invitational in Hastings-On-Hudson, NY.
