LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Men's Lacrosse will return to the turf at Hickey Field after a 14-day layoff on Saturday when it hosts Manhattan at 12 p.m. in a conference game.
Siena leads the all-time series 20-10 and has won four consecutive games in the match up.
Siena (5-2, 1-0 MAAC) has been led by junior attack
Patrick Radomski, who was named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List earlier this season.
The Massapequa, NY native leads the MAAC in goals (24), is tied for first in assists (17) and is first in points (41).
The Jaspers (2-5, 0-1 MAAC) are led by sophomore midfielder Thomas White, who has ranks third in the conference in goals per game (2.57) and has scored the fourth most goals with 18.
The face off "X" will feature Siena sophomore
Logan Banek (43 for 69; .623) and senior
Tyler Kuprianchik (55 for 100; .550) against redshirt junior Casey Klossner (75 for 158; .475) and freshman Beau Fairbanks (8 for 17; .471).
Klossner ranks fourth in the MAAC in ground balls per game (6.71).
In goal, the Jaspers have utilized the services of a trio of players nearly equally in Ryan Beller (150 minutes), Bryce Morris (145 plus minutes) and Ethan Barlag (125 plus minutes).
Beller has performed the best of the bunch thus far with a 9.60 goals-against average, 28 saves and a .538 save percentage with a 1-1 record.
For the Saints, senior
Vito DeBellis has been in net for the near entirety of the season and ranks third in goals against average for those who have played enough qualifying minutes with a 11.26 goals-against average, is ranked fifth in save percentage (.494) and is fifth in saves per game (10.86).
