Mattingly O'Rourke made another memorable moment in Troy, turning in a top time of 2:19.68 to win the women's 800-meter at RPI's Harkness Field on Saturday.
Teammates
Cameron Sisk,
Avery Kozerski,
Delaney Spalthoff, and
Brooke Gabriel all bunched together finishing in eighth, ninth, 11
th and 14
th place in the same event.
On the men's side in the 800-meter,
Marcus Homa and
Evan Wattie both finished with personal-best times, closing out in eighth and ninth place in a sub two-minute mark at 1:59.95 and 2:00.06.
Ralston Frattarola ran it in 2:03.77 while
PJ Dauer (2:07.36) and Chris Murphy (2:07.59) also competed.
In the women's 1,500-meter unseeded race,
Maris Potter finished in second place with a time of 5:04.48 followed by
Katie Hayes in third (5:07.12),
Taylor Syvertsen in fourth (5:08.89),
Marissa Navarra in fifth (5:12.54) and
Izzy McNamee in ninth place (5:16.94).
Olivia Schaffer finished in 5:26.24 followed by
Olivia Armenia in 5:27.50 and
Avery Harrington in 5:50.32.
In the men's 1,500-meter unseeded event, the Saints were led by
Behn Thomas' second-place finish, clocking in at 4:13.43. In third place,
Connor Thomas closed in 4:14.14 followed by
Ean Piaschyk in 4:20.62 for seventh place.
In the women's 400-meter,
Sara Fitzgerald crossed the line in 1:02.11 for an eighth-place spot.
Fitzgerald also had a time of 28.05 in the unseeded women's 200-meter for a seventh-place position.
While the Siena Outdoor Track only competed in some events, the Siena Men finished in seventh place with 22 points while the Siena Women were 10
th with 18 points.
