LATHAM, NY – The Siena Women's Tennis team honored its two seniors for the class of 2026 in a pre-game tribute for
Madeline De Faber-Schumacher and
Reegan Mullaney against Mount St. Mary's (Md.) on Saturday at Shaker High School.
The Saints fell 6-1 to the Mountaineers to wrap the 2025-2026 season and finished with a 9-10 overall record and 2-6 in MAAC play.
Senior
Madeline De Faber-Schumacher finishes her collegiate career with Siena ranked second place all-time in career singles wins with 56 and ranks first all-time in singles No. 6 victories with 25.
Mullaney finishes with 21 career singles victories.
Andrea Vargas won both of her matches on the day to lead the Saints, teaming with
Zaara Omar to defeat Bella Pescatore and Venus Tang 6-4 from the first doubles position and then won her singles No. 1 match against Perkins 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-6).
Mount St. Mary's improved to 12–8 and 5–2 in MAAC play, clinching a spot in the MAAC Tournament.
