LOUDONVILLE, NY — Siena Women's Golf sophomore
Julia Kret has been named to the 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women's Golf All-Academic Team, as announced by the league office.
Kret was one of 39 student-athletes recognized for their excellence in both academics and athletics. To qualify for the MAAC All-Academic Team, student athletes must complete at least two semesters at their institution and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher.
An accounting major, Kret has excelled in the classroom, compiling an impressive 3.83 cumulative GPA. Her success has carried over to the course, where she has been Siena's top performer this season. Kret leads the team with a 79.2 adjusted scoring average across 15 rounds and has consistently delivered strong finishes throughout the year. In eight tournaments, Kret has recorded five top-10 finishes, highlighted by a pair of top-five performances.
Kret and the Saints will now turn their focus to postseason play, as Siena prepares to compete in the 2026 MAAC Women's Golf Championship, set for April 21–23 at Disney's Magnolia Course. The event marks the 15th consecutive year the championship will be held at the venue and the 24th time overall since 2000.
