Four Siena Women's Lacrosse student athletes were named to the All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Association (MAAC) Teams with one Major Award Winner on Friday as voted on by the league's 12 coaches.
Sophomore
McAllister Salter doubled as both the MAAC's Goalkeeper of the Year as well as a selection to the All-MAAC First Team.
The Tappan, NY native ranks 12
th nationally in goals-against average at 8.10 goals allowed per game and is tied for 41
st nationally as well in ground balls per game (2.5).
The two-time MAAC Goalkeeper of the Week earned recognition on March 2 for her 17-save, nine ground ball effort in a 12-10 win against Vermont and a 10-8 road win at UMass Lowell and also won the award on February 9 for making seven saves with only six goals allowed and scooped five ground balls in a 10-6 victory against Hofstra.
Playing in all 16 games for the Saints, Salter holds a 10-5 record with a .440 saves percentage (ranks fifth best in the MAAC) and has recorded 92 saves (ranks ninth in the MAAC).
In conference play, Salter was even stingier—allowing just 7.21 goals per game (best in the MAAC) and is fourth in saves percentage (.452).
Salter is the second Saint to earn the MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year Award, joining Sammy Horton, who completed the feat in 2019.
Junior
Elizabeth Wamp earned All-MAAC Second Teams honors as a midfielder after leading the team in goals among non-attackers with a career-high 25.
Additionally, the Skaneateles, NY native had showcased her penchant for an all-around game with 18 draw controls, 16 ground balls and 11 caused turnovers with a winning goal notched against Vermont on Feb. 25.
Wamp has scored multiple goals on nine occasions this season including three hat tricks. She was a member of the All-MAAC Rookie team in 2024.
Sophomore
Faye Gorman was also named to the All-MAAC Second Team on defense after serving as a key cog to the Saints' nationally-ranked eighth best scoring defense (7.56 goals-against average).
Gorman was instrumental in helping lead the Saints to holding their opponents to seven goals or fewer including Hofstra, FDU, Rhode Island, Merrimack, Sacred Heart, Iona and Manhattan.
The Bay Shore, NY native has started all 16 games for the Saints and has totaled 19 ground balls with 16 caused turnovers to lead the defensive unit.
Freshman
Hailey Deptula became the 23
rd Saint in program history to earn All-MAAC Rookie Team honors.
Appearing in 14 games with seven starts, Deptula finished the regular season as the third highest goal scorer with 21 goals and added six assists to rank tied for third on the team in points with 27.
Additionally, the South Windsor, CT native has tallied 11 draw controls, 11 ground balls, two caused turnovers and buried winning goals against Merrimack on March 25 and against Iona on April 11.
