Women’s Lacrosse Eyes MAAC Championship against Stags

Saints to play on Sunday at 11 a.m. in MAAC Championship on ESPNU

FAIRFIELD, CT – Siena Women's Lacrosse head coach Danielle Schwan-Tetreault described her team as "hungry" after their wire-to-wire 18-8 dominant win against No. 2 seed Niagara in a total flip the script result from earlier this season.

After dropping a 10-4 road defeat to the Purple Eagles, the Saints avenged that loss and then some—by pouring on with their fifth double-digit margin of victory this season.

Fifth-seeded Siena (12-6) will now meet No. 1 Fairfield (14-3) on the Stags' home field of Conway Field at Rafferty Stadium for an opportunity to win its first MAAC Championship.

The game will be streamed on ESPNU with broadcasters Kylie Rees and Cooper Boardman on the call.
