Siena Men's Lacrosse junior attack
Patrick Radomski has been announced as one of 41 honorable mention selections for Inside Lacrosse's mid-season All-Americans list on Friday.
Bryan Neufeld was the last Saint to be named as a mid-season Consensus All-American by Inside Lacrosse in 2012.
The lists were compiled by Inside Lacrosse staff and contributors who were polled. The mid-season list reflects fairly accurately the final official All-Americans list that is released in May.
Radomski was the only MAAC player to appear on the list and was one of 10 attack men to appear on the Honorable Mention list. The First, Second and Third Teams have had 14 selections that included three attack men, three midfielders, one face off specialist, two short-stick defensive midfielders, one long-stick midfielder, three defensemen and one goalkeeper.
Earlier this season, Radomski became just the sixth player in Siena Men's Lacrosse program history to be named to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, joining Richie Hurley (2014), Danny Martinsen (2013), Bryan Neufield (2012), Brent Herbst (2010) and Matt Girsh (2008).
Radomski has earned three MAAC weekly awards this season as the conference's Offensive Player of the Week along with being named to the USILA Team of the Week of Feb. 25 after a 10-point performance in a week against Binghamton.
The Massapequa, NY native became the 33
rd member in Siena Men's Lacrosse history to join the 100-point club in that game on Feb. 17.
Despite missing the last game, Radomski still ranks first in the MAAC in goals scored with 29, first in goals per game (3.22), first in assists per game (2.44), first in assists (22), first in points (51), first in points per game (5.67), third in shots per game (8.89) and is fifth in shots taken (80).
Siena (8-2, 4-0 MAAC) will return to the field this Saturday at Mazzella Field when it travels to New Rochelle, NY to take on conference opponent Iona (2-11, 2-3 MAAC) at 1 p.m.
