Four student-athletes from the Siena Women's Tennis team were bestowed the honor of being named to the 2025-2026 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, who recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
In the classroom, junior
Manuela Gomez achieved a cumulative 3.80 GPA and is majoring in Marketing. On the court, the Bogota, Colombia native earned 12 singles victories and added 10 more for individual doubles play.
Senior
Reegan Mullaney achieved a 3.62 GPA while majoring in Management. The Edina, MN native won seven singles matches and five individual doubles matches.
Junior
Zaara Omar, had a cumulative 4.0 GPA in the area of Finance.
The Castelldefels, Spain native won a team-high 14 singles and 11 individual doubles matches. Loch Varella thrived in the singles No. 4 position with a record of 9-3.
Junior
Andrea Vargas held a 3.50 cumulative GPA also as a Finance major. The Lima, Peru native earned nine singles victories along with six wins in doubles play.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 2.
Voting for the Academic All-America tennis teams begins Tuesday, May 12, at noon ET and closes Tuesday, May 19, at 11:59 pm ET. All CSC members are eligible to vote on the ballots in their division.
