LOUDONVILLE, NY – New Siena Men's Basketball Head Coach Nevada Smith has officially announced his second newcomer to the Saints 2026-27 roster, with the signing of incoming freshman Trent Egbiremolen.
 
"Trent is a unique guard who can play multiple positions," said Smith. "He has both a college-ready body and mind. We are excited to get Trent in the gym with our guys, and help him work and grow. He will be a fan favorite with his ability to play both ends at a high level, and will contribute to winning on Day One."
 
A 6-5, 215-pound guard from Baltimore, Maryland, Egbiremolen arrives in Loudonville following a stellar postgraduate season at IMG Academy in Florida, where he earned team MVP honors after averaging 20 points and nine rebounds. Egbiremolen averaged 19.7 points over three games while leading IMG to the National Prep Championship Series Semifinals, earning Honorable Mention All-American honors. Earlier in the season, he scored 22 points and added seven rebounds to help snap top-ranked Putnam Science's 50-game win streak.
 
Egbiremolen previously played in his native Maryland for both St. Frances Academy and Baltimore City College. He earned 2024-25 Baltimore Catholic League First Team and All-City honors while starring for St. Frances.
 
Egbiremolen competed on the Under Armour circuit for Team Thrill, earning 2025 17U UAA All-Circuit Third Team acclaim after averaging 11.0 points and 3.6 rebounds.
 
Egbiremolen becomes the seventh scholarship addition to the 2026-27 Siena roster, joining transfer Pace Prosser, re-committed fellow incoming freshman Parrish Edmond, Jr., and returners Brendan Coyle, Reid Ducharme, Isaiah Henderson, and Owen Schlager.
