2020 (JUNIOR):

• Made four appearances out of the bullpen
• Held a 6.35 ERA in 5.2 innings of work
• Struck out four batters while walking five

2019 (SOPHOMORE):

• Made 13 appearances, including 12 out of the bullpen
• Held a 6.23 ERA and a 1-1 record in 17.1 innings of work
• Struck out eight batters while issuing four walks

2018 (FRESHMAN):

• Made 13 appearances as a reliever
• Recorded 15 strikeouts and 12 walks in 28.2 innings on the mound
• Posted a 1-0 record and a 6.91 ERA
• Struck out a career-high four batter in two shutout innings against Brown on April 24
• Earned his first career win by throwing a scoreless inning in relief against Abilene Christian on April 28

• 2017 Daily Freeman Player of the Year
• Posted 7-1 record with 1.54 ERA, four shutouts, .188 opponents' batting average, and 69 strikeouts over 50 innings as high school senior
• Led Kingston to back-to-back Section IX Class AA Titles his final two years
• 2016 Daily Freeman Pitcher of the Year, Second Team All-State selection, and All-Area Pitcher of the Year
• In 2016 posted 6-1 record with 0.39 ERA, 55 strikeouts, and just eight walks and 26 hits allowed in recording .138 opponents' batting average over 55.1 innings
• Pitched for Taconic Rangers summer program

• Son of Wayne & Tracie Short
• Has two brothers - Zack & Brady
• Brother, Zach, played baseball at Sacred Heart University from 2014-16 and was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 17th round of the 2016 MLB June Amateur Draft. He spent 2018 with the AA Tennessee Smokies of the Southern League. 
• Majoring in business, with plans to play baseball professionally
• Chose Siena because it is a great school
