SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - Junior Kari Belin (Hagerstown, MD), with game-high statistics of 15 kills on 24 attempts with a hitting percentage of .583, led the way for the Seton Hall volleyball team as the Pirates notched their third straight victory with a 3-0 win over Siena (30-17, 30-23, 30-24) on Tuesday night at Walsh Gym.
With the win, the Pirates pull even at 8-8, their first time at .500 since September 8. The Saints drop to 11-5.
Junior Alyson Furch (Tempe, AZ) and sophomore Jenna Meyers (Camarillo, CA) each had 10 kills. Furch also had a hitting percentage of .533.
In addition, junior Leanne Thompson (New Philadelphia, PA) and sophomore Jackie Neely (Indianapolis, IN) each had a team-high seven digs.
For Siena, sophomore Lauren Weber had 10 kills. Senior Sarah Watkins added nine digs for the Saints.
The Pirates return to home action again on Saturday, Oct. 13 against Lehigh at 7:00 p.m.
