LOUDONVILLE, N.Y.-Former Siena baseball player Todd Donovan made the San Diego Padres 40-man roster on Friday. San Diego Padres General Manager Kevin Towers called on Friday to let Todd know that he was being activated on their 40-man effective immediately.
Donovan spent this past season at Lake Elsinore, Calif. The team is their High Class A minor league team. The team had the best record in all of minor league baseball this past season. Donovan's career numbers are impressive a .295 average, 81 stolen bases and 133 runs scored in 147 games.
Donovan was an 8th round pick out of Siena as a junior, in 1999.
