LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - The MAAC named Siena's Gunta Basko the Player of the Week for the sixth time in 12 weeks on Monday. Basko led the Saints to a pair of victories last week that extended Siena's winning streak to 19 straight games, tying an all-time school record.

Basko (Olaine, Latvia/Riga Secondary #3) scored 20 points and had eight rebounds in only 21 minutes against Fairfield. She then posted 22 points and 16 rebounds in Siena's win over Manhattan, including four of six from three-point range.

Basko ranks among conference leaders in seven different statistical categories. She has moved into the top-10 all-time in rebounds and is just 13 points away from moving into the top-10 in scoring.

Siena has won 19 straight games and 29 straight against MAAC opponents. The Saints put both streaks on the line at Loyola on Saturday.
