Siena freshman Michael Haddix was selected MAAC Rookie of the Week today following a pair of solid performance in Siena's Western New York split this past week. Haddix averaged 13.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

In Siena's 78-73 win at Niagara, Haddix chipped in 13 points, five boards, one block and one steal. He later recorded a 14-point, six rebound performance in the Saints' hard-fought loss to Canisius. For the week, Haddix shot 53% from the floor and 85% from the free throw line.

Haddix is second on the team and 13th in the MAAC with 13.9 points per game. His 6.6 rebounds per contest also rank second on the Saints and place him ninth in the conference.

Haddix and the Saints return to action at the Pepsi Arena against MAAC-leader Fairfield at 7 p.m. this evening.
