Final Stats
Loudonville, N.Y. - The women's lacrosse team (1-7) could not take a lead in an 18-7 loss to Holy Cross this afternoon in Worcester, Mass. Ryan Tierney finished with three points to lead the Saints in the loss.
Tierney was one of three Saints to fire home a pair of goals but she also set up another score with her field awareness. Also scoring two goals for Siena were, Kathryn Marcantonio and Lynn Harkins.
Off the bench, freshman Stephanie DiMari added a goal and an assist.
Sophomore Emily Winslow scooped up a team-high three ground balls for the Saints.
Siena goalie Bethany Zimmer made seven saves between the pipes.
Holy Cross was led by a pair of four point performances from Carolyn Smirti and Patricia Sutton. Each of them contributed a pair of goals and assist in the Crusaders victory.
Siena continues their league schedule with a Saturday afternoon game in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. against the Marist Red Foxes with a 1 p.m. start time.
