Sarah Mayer defeated Kate Lyons of Providence 6-0 and 6-3 in the finals of the A-Flight, highlighting an exciting weekend of play in the inaugural Siena Invitational. Mayer also teamed with freshmen Lauren Moy to post an 8-6 win in the A-Flight doubles finals.

"The tournament was a good chance for the team to get some much needed match play," head coach Tim O'Brien said. "Kudos to Lauren Moy who had to hold off a feisty Holy Cross doubles team by holding her serve to win the match."

Moy and Mayer won both their matches, defeating the top Providence pair before the dramatic final with Holy Cross.

In other key singles action, Dinka Keric lost an 8-4 decision in the D-Flight finals.
