Loudonville, N.Y. - The Siena volleyball team's 2008 home opener on Wednesday evening against Binghamton at the Alumni Recreation Center will be televised locally and in Central New York on Time Warner Cable. The Saints battle the Bearcats in a 7 p.m. match which will be carried in the Capital Region on Channel 3.
The "Voice of the Saints" Robert Lee will have the call of the action alongside Mike Demos beginning at 7 p.m.
In addition, the telecast will be made available to Siena fans worldwide on the brand new SienaAllAccess.com. Fans can purchase the fall package which includes seven scheduled volleyball broadcasts for the affordable price of $24.95, or select just Wednesday's broadcast for a fee of $8.
Additionally, SienaAllAccess.com subscribers have the added bonus of being able to view past broadcasts through the archive feature. Siena Volleyball returns to SienaAllAccess.com on Saturday for the Saints home match against MAAC foe Iona.
Siena enters Wednesday's match looking to improve upon a 2-8 start. The Saints are coming off a thrilling come from behind 3-2 victory at Niagara Sunday. MAAC Player of the Week Burgandy McCurty collected 21 kills and 11 digs.
Binghamton (4-10) meanwhile enters play coming off a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Rice Saturday in the final day of the Bowling Green/Best Western Invitational. The Bearcats are led by sophomore outside hitter Anna Lejina who leads the squad averaging 3.19 kills/set.
