The Siena water polo team's first game in the University of Redlands Tournament scheduled for Saturday morning in Redlands, Calif. has been cancelled. Travel issues forced the cancellation, but the team is hopeful to arrive in time for its second game later Saturday afternoon.

Siena was scheduled to open the tournament Saturday morning with a game slated for 10:15 a.m. PT against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. However, the team encountered travel issues along the way and is hopeful to arrive in California sometime Saturday morning.

As of the time of this release, Siena is scheduled to arrive in time for the second and final game of the University of Redlands Tournament against the host Bulldogs. That game is scheduled for 3 p.m. PT on Saturday.

Siena enters its four-day California trip at 0-2 on the young season, following a pair of losses last weekend in the Harvard Invitational to then #8 Michigan and the host Crimson.
