Sarah Mayer won 6-1 and 6-2 at top singles and Siena won two of three doubles matches to claim the double point, but succumbed 5-2 in the first competition on its annual spring tour at Cal-State Bakersfield.
Mayer teamed with Danielle Crill for an 8-4 win at top double and freshmen Jasleen Sandhu and Nicole Ross won 8-2 at #2 doubles.
Mayer then won her singles match 6-1 and 6-2 over Nefeli Diamanti. Kirstie Jenkins, Veronica Davis, Kaydee Graham, Sara Mijwel andAshlee Thorneycroft all won their singles matches for Bakersfield
