FULLERTON, CA - The Cal State Fullerton women's tennis team posted a 6-1 win over Siena in a non-conference match on Titan Courts Thursday. Sarah Mayer landed a 6-2 and 6-3 win at top singles for the Saints.
"We played some very good tennis this week," Siena coach Tim O'Brien said. "Some of the scores were deceiving. Obviously, we're very proud that Sarah could come to the West Coast and do such a great job representing Siena College and the MAAC. But everyone battled today and we seem to have found a doubles lineup that is headed in the right direction."
The Saints do not return to action until March 8 when they host UMass.
