Women's Lacrosse Loses at St. Bonaventure, 14-8

Tori Waheibi made 13 saves for St. Bonaventure and her team scored 11-second half goals to defeat Siena 14-8 in a non-conference game Sunday afternoon in St. Bonaventure, N.Y. Junior attackman Caitlin Mikel led the Saints with three goals while Allie Kain and Kristin McMillan each had two.

St. Bonaventure (3-4) led Siena 3-2 (4-3) after a defensive first half. The Bonnies scored just one goal in the game's first 20 minutes. The Saints outshot them 15-13 in the half, but Waheibi made six saves to keep her team in front.

St. Bonaventure exploded for three goals in the first two minutes of the second half to take a 6-2 lead. McMillan's free-position goal cut the deficit, but the Bonnies answered with three more goals to extend their lead to 9-3.

McMillan tallied her second free-position goal of the game with 6:53 left, but St. Bonaventure pulled away with three more goals.

Sophomore goalie Kristin Concordia made four saves in the loss.

The Saints return to action next Saturday when they play LeMoyne in Syracuse, N.Y.
