LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena women's golf placed four student-athletes on the MAAC All-Academic Team as announced by conference headquarters. Tri-captains Bridget Carr, Katelynn Mannix and Catherine Shomo all made the list as did sophomore Julie Juchno.

Carr, the lone senior on the team and the MAAC Golfer of the Month for September, has posted a 3.21 GPA as a Marketing and Management major. Mannix meanwhile has accrued a near perfect GPA of 3.95 while majoring in Biochemistry. Shomo, who was named MAAC Golfer of the Month this past week, has a 3.77 GPA as an accounting major and Juchno sports a 3.68 GPA as an undecided science major.

The Saints return to the links today for the first round of the 2010 MAAC Championships in Celebration, Fla.
