Final Stats
Siena women's lacrosse lost its fourth straight game Tuesday afternoon, 18-6 at No. 9 Dartmouth in Hanover, N.H. The Big Green outshot Siena 28-11 as it won its eighth straight game. Sophomores Kristin McMillan and Michelle Andreo led the Saints with two goals apiece in Siena's regular season non-conference finale.
Dartmouth (8-1) jumped out to a 5-0 lead and never looked back as it built a 12-3 halftime lead. The Big Green led by as many as 12 goals in the second half. Led by Sarah Parks, who scored six points on three goals and three assists, seven different players recorded four points or more.
The Saints (4-6) were rewarded when they put the ball on cage. Six of their eight shots on goal, went in. Dartmouth's goalies, Julie Wadland (four goals against in 43:47 minutes) and Chelsea Kirk (two goals against in 16:13 minutes), each made one save.
McMillan scored both of her goals from the eight-meter circle. She is the only Siena player to score better than 50% (with more than one attempt) on free-position shots (6-of-9) this season.
The Saints return to action on Friday when they host Manhattan. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
