Siena basketball fans can catch several different coaches shows this evening. The Siena Basketball Coaches Show returns to WVCR and Siena All-Access at 6 p.m., while the Saints Alive! Coaches Show premieres tonight on Time Warner Cable as well.
The Siena Basketball Coaches Show features head coaches Mitch Buonaguro and Gina Castelli discussing their teams during a rare break in the Siena athletic schedule. The show, which airs from 6-7 p.m. tonight on WVCR 88.3 FM "The Saint," features guest appearances from freshman Evan Hymes and sophomore Kate Zarotney.
Fans can tune into the show in the Capital Region on WVCR 88.3 FM "The Saint" or listen for free online at SienaAllAccess.com by clicking the listen link at the top of this release.
The women's portion, hosted by Mike Demos, airs from 6-6:30 p.m. with Castelli and Zarotney, while the "Voice of the Saints," Robert Lee, hosts the men's portion with Buonaguro and Hymes beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, episode three of the Saints Alive! Coaches Show premieres Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. on Time Warner Cable Sports. Hosted by Marisa Jacques, the show features both Castelli and Buonagurp, and will also air Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. A free video preview is available above.
Both teams are on breaks for final exams, but return to action next week. The women are in action first, as they'll take the floor at the ARC on December 21 for the annual Blue Shield of Northeastern New York Kid's Day game against UMass at 11 a.m. Kids under 13 will receive free admission, and over 1,500 local schoolchildren are expected to attend. Furthermore, it's rumored that there may even be a special appearance by Santa Claus himself!
Meanwhile, the men return to the Times Union Center on December 22, when they'll lock up with reigning Ivy League champion Princeton in their final home game of 2011. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
