Siena water polo saw their trip to the West Coast continue with mixed results Friday. The Saints trounced Vanguard 13-1, but fell to Concordia 15-10 in the nightcap.
The Saints (5-9) spread out the production in the day's first game, as seven different players scored goals. Siena tallied the first 11 scores of the game, and the defense faced just five shots.
Siena then started strong against Concordia, leading 5-2 after the first period thanks to three goals in the first eight minutes from senior Jackie Crosby. However, the Saints would run out of gas, and were outscored 13-5 in the game's final 24 minutes. Crosby and classmate Nicole Hagi led the squad with four goals apiece.
Siena will jump back into the pool Saturday against Chapman and Redlands.
