OYSTER BAY, N.Y. - Four different Saints scored three goals or more as Siena Women's Lacrosse won the First Annual Supervisor's Trophy Game of the Oyster Bay Classic at Allen Field on Long Island, defeating Wagner 16-8. Michelle Andreo led the Saints with four goals including the game-winner and was awarded the MVP trophy.

Kristin McMillan added four goals and Deirdre McQuillan and Caitlin Mikel each tallied hat tricks and finished with five points to lead Siena's (4-4) offense.

Both teams struggled to find the net early on as only one goal was scored in the game's first 19 minutes. Both Kristin Concordia and Wagner (1-5) goalie Morgan Roach were stout between the pipes in the first half, combining for 16 saves in the stanza.

Leading 5-2 at the half, things opened up for the Saints on the offensive end at the start of the second half. Siena scored four times in the first 2:58 to open a 9-2 lead and ultimately would tally 11 goals in the half en route to the victory.

Siena out-shot Wagner 35-23 and held a 21-14 edge in groundballs. Concordia had one of her finest games of the year in goal, stopping 13 shots - a number of which came point blank off of free-position attempts.

Amanda Corso picked up six groundballs, while Erin Hepper won five draw controls. Additionally, McQuillan contributed four caused turnovers and four groundballs in a solid all-around effort.

Sam Morin led the Seahawks with two goals, while Dana Marchitelli and Jillian Maloney chipped in with a goal and an assist apiece.

The Saints look to move back above .500 on the season Saturday when they take on Presbyterian in another neutral site game in Baltimore, Md. The Saints and Blue Hose will match-up at Anne Arundel Community College in a noon start.
