Camille Norman's six goals spearheaded Siena water polo to a 13-11 win over George Washington Saturday, the first win ever by the Saints over the Colonials. With the triumph, Siena moves to 6-9 on the season.
Siena led 5-3 after one period of play and 9-7 after 16 minutes, but the Colonials narrowed the gap to 10-9 with a period to go. However, the Saints held on, spearheaded by a superb man-down unit that allowed just one man-advantage goal in eight GW tries.
Nicole Hagi had two goals for the Saints. Traci Robertson, Rebecca Robinson, Jackie Crosby, Katie Ness, and Devan Ragg also scored for Siena in the winning effort.
The Saints return to the pool on April 9th, when they travel to Marist to begin MAAC play with games against Iona and Villanova.
