Siena water polo stayed at .500 in MAAC play Sunday with another split. The Saints used four hat tricks in an 18-9 win over Villanova, but fell to St. Francis 14-11 to end the day.
The Saints (10-13, 4-4 MAAC) saw an offensive eruption in game one, led by senior Nicole Hagi's six goals. Classmates Camille Norman and Devan Ragg, as well as junior Traci Robertson, added three goals apiece in the victory, Siena's second over Villanova this season.
However, Siena was outgunned in an offensive battle in game two against the Terriers. Four goals from Norman, and three from Hagi, were not enough as the Saints failed to overcome a 9-6 halftime deficit.
Siena returns to action on Wednesday night at Hartwick.
