The results may not have been what was hoped for, but the Siena women's tennis team competed well against top-notch competition this weekend at the St. Bonaventure Invitational. The team played singles and doubles matches against UTEP and St. Bonaventure Saturday and there were more than a few positive takeaways.
"I'm absolutely satisfied with the level of play from our players," head coach Andy Christodoulou said. "They play hard no matter what the score is. I am happy that they stay focus on the point at hand and nothing more."
Elora Benfor and freshman Cassie Braz each posted singles wins against the Bonnies. The doubles team of Braz and senior Danielle Crill posted doubles victories against UTEP and St. Bonaventure.
