The Siena women's tennis team is the coaches' choice to finish fourth, while the men were picked sixth in the Preseason MAAC Polls released by the league office Monday. The top four teams in each sport advance to the 2012 MAAC Championships at Mercer County Park in West Windsor, New Jersey April 28-29.
The Siena women placed fourth in the league last year, and boast a veteran roster led by senior ace Jasleen Sandhu.
The Siena men were picked sixth of seven teams, but were just six points behind third place Loyola in the poll.
The women are next in action Saturday against UAlbany at Tri City Racquet Club, while the men open their spring season next Saturday (Feb. 25) at Sacred Heart.
