The Siena Basketball Coaches Show returned to the Capital Region airwaves on WVCR 88.3 FM "The Saint" on Thursday. The archive, which includes freshmen Rob Poole and Ida Krogh, can also be listened to for free online at SienaAllAccess.com.
The Siena men are coming off a key victory over Manhattan Tuesday night at the Times Union Center and remain tied at the moment with Niagara for the all-important six seed in next month's MAAC Tournament. With just three crucial conference games remaining, the Saints step outside the league this weekend for the annual BracketBusters game Saturday at 4 p.m. at Hofstra.
The women find themselves in a very similar position with the men as they too are currently tied for sixth in the MAAC with both Canisius and Iona. The women host their final two home games of the season this weekend with Manhattan on tap Friday night at the ARC at 7 p.m. and Rider Sunday at 2 p.m.
Friday night is Cristina Centeno Bobblehead Doll Night and the first 300 fans to the game will receive a bobblehead. Sunday meanwhile marks the Saints' annual Senior Day and the final home games for Centeno and Maja Gerlyng.
