The latest edition of the Siena Basketball Coaches Show debuted Thursday night. The show's guests were Cristina Centeno and Kyle Downey, and you can listen to the archive worldwide at Siena All-Access.
Both the men and women earned the #6 seed at the 2012 MAAC Tournament, which will be held at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass. Ironically, both teams will face the Manhattan Jaspers in the quarterfinals. The women will tip off at 11:30 a.m. Friday, while the men will take the floor at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Centeno and Downey each ended their final regular seasons with standout performances. Centeno scored a season-high 21 points in Sunday's win over Canisius, while Downey's career-high 28 points propelled Siena to an 86-75 win over the Griffs on Senior Day Sunday at the Times Union Center.
