Women's Water Polo

West Coast Woes Continue

March 12, 2012

Siena water polo's trip to California continued Monday night, but despite a hat trick from Melanie Boehrig, the Saints fell 11-7 at Redlands. Siena has now lost five straight games on the west coast.

Boehrig's three goals led an otherwise-balanced Siena (3-11) attack. Katie Ness, Traci Robertson, Rebecca Robinson, and Lea Allen all scored one goal apiece in the loss. In net, Madeline Hurley posted a solid effort, recording seven saves, three steals, and two assists.

Siena wraps up their trip to the Golden State on Thursday, with a 4 p.m. tilt at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
