Siena Basketball Named Best of 2012 by Times Union

Siena basketball at Times Union Center was selected as the "Best College/Pro Sporting Event in the Past Year" in the 15th annual Best of the Capital Region survey conducted by the Albany Times Union.

NCAA Frozen Four participant Union and the Tri City ValleyCats rounded out the top three in the category.

Siena ranked 80th nationally in Division I men's basketball attendance in 2011-12, with 91,128 fans turning out for 14 home games (6,509). The home attendance more than tripled the next closest MAAC school (Iona - 27,239 fans).

Season tickets for the anticipated 2012-13 season are as affordable as $104 and can be purchased by contacting the Siena Fan Relations Center at 487-2202.
