Men's Golf Competes In Whiting-Turner Towson Invite

The men's golf team is currently in 17th out of 22 teams after the first round of the Whiting-Turner Towson Invitational on Monday evening at the Hog Neck Golf Course in Easton, Md. Spencer Sautin leads the way for Siena after shooting an opening round 80.

Lou Walsh finished one-stroke behind Sautin, shooting an 81. Riley McGraw and Michael Shine showed well for the Saints, shooting an 83 and 84, respectively. Walsh finished 58th as McGraw and Shine finished 76th and 87th.

Rounding out the scores for the Saints is Brendan Quintana. Quintana shot a first round 85 to finish in the 94th position.

VCU's Steffen Harm leads the individual scores with a 73 and Fairleigh Dickinson leads all teams with a 299.

Round two continues tomorrow for an 8:00 a.m. tee time. Quintana starts at 8 a.m., Shine tees off at 8:10 a.m., followed by McGraw (8:20 a.m.), Walsh (8:30 a.m.) and Spencer Sautin at 8:40 a.m.
