The Siena Water Polo concluded their 2014 season Saturday afternoon in Staten Island, N.Y. after defeating Saint Francis 10-9 in the first game and falling 20-8 to Wagner in the second game. Jacque Verdon scored the game-winning goal to give Saints the win over Saint Francis.

With the game tied at 9-9, Verdon found the back of the cage with 3:14 left in the fourth quarter to put the Saints up on Saint Francis. Saint Francis could not bounce back and Verdon's goal proved to be the game-winner. Verdon's game-winner gave her the hat trick on the day.

Senior Lea Allen scored four goals against Saint Francis.

Wagner defeated the Saints 20-8 in the final game of the season. Melanie Boehrig led the team with three goals for the hat trick in her final game of her tremendous career as a Siena Saint. Senior Lea Allen also scored a goal in her final game of her career.

Sarah Abbot recorded a double-digit saves game with 10 against Wagner.

The Saints finish the 2014 season 7-21, 3-9.
