A late scoring burst by Fresno Pacific and an early scoring burst by Cal Baptist were too much to overcome for Siena Water Polo losing 13-5, and 12-1. Stephanie Bundas was the top scorer again for the Saints, scoring three goals against Fresno Pacific.

In the first game against Fresno Pacific the Saints matched the Sunbirds goal for goal through halftime. Bundas and freshman Clare Bryar scored the Saints goals in the first quarter, with Bundas and Jacquelyn Verdon finding the back of the net in the second, as the teams went into halftime 4-4.

After a Bundas goal in the third cut the Sundbirds lead to 6-5, Fresno Pacific scored the final seven goals of the game, en route to a 13-5 victory.

In the second game, Cal Baptist scored the first four goals of the game in the first quarter, and after Bryar scored for the Saints in the second, would score the final eight goals of the game and take the game 12-1.

Siena is back in action for day two of the CLU Tina Finali Invitational against host Cal Lutheran at 9 a.m. PST (12 p.m. EST) and Occidental 12:45 p.m. (3:45 p.m. EST)
