Siena Women's Lacrosse continues to make some early noise. The surging Saints won their third straight - marking the program's longest winning streak in three years - in impressively dispatching Binghamton 12-3 in Vestal, N.Y.

Siena (4-4) harbored commanding advantages in both shots (34-18) and groundballs (22-11) while holding Binghamton (3-4) scoreless for a 48-minute span. Overall, the Saints have won four of their last five and are already showing signs of a program on the rise which is quickly turning the corner under first-year head coach Bryana Borrelli.

Siena dominated in the first half, out-shooting the Bearcats 19-5. The Saints scored the first three goals and ultimately built an 8-1 lead at the break. Siena would make it nine unanswered goals to open as large as an 11-goal lead, 12-1 in the later stages of the second half.

The Saints' seniors led the way offensively. Reigning MAAC Offensive Player of the Week Alyssa Treanor scored a game-high five points on a hat trick and two assists. Shannon O'Connor netted her second consecutive hat trick and Erin Mossop added four points on a pair of goals and assists.

Siena's defense, which has allowed an average of just five goals in the Saints' four wins, was again impressive. Senior Danielle DeLisio and junior Ashley Holdridge again anchored the strong defensive effort in goal making three and seven saves respectively.

Renee Kiviat scored two of the three goals for Binghamton which has lost three straight.

The Saints conclude their season long three-game road trip and the non-conference portion of their schedule Saturday at noon at LIU Brooklyn.
