Stephanie Bundas Named To All-MAAC Team

April 29, 2015

The MAAC announced the 2015 All-MAAC teams and the 2015 Water Polo All-Academic team on Friday night during the 2015 MAAC Water Polo banquet. Siena Water Polo senior Stephanie Bundas was named to the All-MAAC second team for the second year in a row. Five Saints were named to the MAAC All-Academic team as well.

Bundas enjoyed one of the best seasons in Siena Water Polo history. She appeared in all 28 games for the Saints, and recorded a program record 93 goals with 13 assists for 106 points. Her 93 goals broke the previous record of 84 goals set by Camille Norman in 2010, and were good for third in the conference. The 106 points were the sixth most in program history, and ranked her fifth in the MAAC.

Five Saints were also named to the MAAC All-Academic Team. Sarah Abbott, Madeline Hurley, Kori Swieter and Samantha Voelker, joined Bundas on the All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
