Saints Topped by Poets

The Whitter College water polo team outscored Siena in every quarter as the Saints opened its spring break trip to California with a 15-5 loss to the Poets on Wednesday night. Clare Bryar led Siena, scoring two of the Saints' five goals.

Daniella Fuertes, Taylor Young and Terez Touhey also registered goals as well for Siena. In the assist category, Fuertes finished with two. Fiona Drezka was the top steal recorder as the sophomore had two to lead the team in the category.

Carly Jackson-Clark and Sarah Abbott finished with three saves apiece in goal for the Saints. Kennedy Joseph made one save.

The Saints continue their California swing when they play La Verne Thursday at 4 p.m. pacific time.
