The Siena water polo team dropped its third fourth consecutive contest Thursday when the team fell 15-2 to La Verne in La Verne, Calif. Freshman Terez Touhey recorded the Saints' two goals. Madison Obata assisted on both goals.
The Leopards started the game on a 9-0 run. Touhey got the Saints on the board to end the run in the second quarter.
La Verne added six more goals to bring their goal total to 15.
Sarah Abbott and Carly Jackson-Clark each recorded two saves in goal for Siena.
Touhey and Fiona Dretzka finished with three steals apiece to lead the Saints in the category.
The Saints will continue their California swing when they travel to Thousand Oaks to play in the Cal Lutheran Invite. Their first contests are set for Friday at 8 a.m and 11:45 a.m pacific time against Cal Lutheran and Fresno Pacific, respectively.
