In their final meet before the MAAC Championships, the Siena Men's and Women's Cross Country programs headed to New Haven, Connecticut for the 15th Annual CCSU Mini-Meet. The women finished eighth as a team in the 3K, while the men took 12th in the 5K.
Junior Sarah Forman led the way for the women and grabbed second place overall with a 10:09.7 time. Both Camryn Johnson and Monica Strain notched 11-minute 3K times with 10:47.0 and 10:59.1, respectively. Sophomore Carolyn Pellegrini finished in a 11:09.6, while Meghan McDonough came in a time of 11:15.6. Carissa Kahn rounded out the Saints score with an 11:30.6 finish time.
Jack O'Hara led the way for the men with his 15:47.4 5K finish time. Sophomores Michael Stoker and Luciano Fiore came through in respective times of 15:54.1 and 16:21.7. Freshman Cole DiGiacomo finished in 17:44.4. Ittai Rosales went through the chute in 18:12.6, while Daniel Medici was the final Saint to finish in 18:22.4.
The Saints will spend the next week putting the final pieces into place before the MAAC Championships on Saturday, October 28.
