LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Siena Saints Cross Country teams ended their fall season strong, as both squads participated in the IC4A/ECAC Championships, held at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, NY. The men's team finished sixth of 14 teams, while the women's team bettered the men's finish by a spot, coming in fifth of 14.
In the women's race, senior
Sarah Forman had the top finish for the Green and Gold, coming in seventh with a time of 17:10. Junior
Sydney Johnson finished 22
nd with a time of 17:35, while her sister
Camryn Johnson crossed the line as the third Saint in 39
th with a time of 17:57. Junior
Carolyn Pellegrini and sophomore
Morgan Serkes rounded out Siena's top five, as Pellegrini finished 44
th with a time of 18:02, while Serkes finished 47
th with a time of 18:07.
For the men, junior
Evans Kibet had the best individual finish of any Saint on the day, as he came in fourth in the men's run with a time of 23:01. Senior
William Randall finished 27
th with a time of 23:40. Junior
Michael Rautter also had a solid run, finishing 35
th with a time of 23:48. Junior
Stosh Davis just finished in the top 50, as he came in 49
th with a time of 24:06. Rounding out the top five was
Jack O'Hara, who finished 55
th with a time of 24:14.
Based on their finishing positions, Forman, along with Sydney and
Camryn Johnson earned All-ECAC honors, while on the men's side, Kibet, Randall, and Rautter earned All-East Honors.
