POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – The Siena Men's Cross Country Team placed second with 52 points in the 6K, while the women finished fourth with 75 points in the 5K to kick of the 2026 season in the Marist Opener on Vassar Farm. 

Three Saints on the men's team finished inside the Top-7 including junior Evan Wattie, who recorded Siena's top men's 6K result, placing fourth in 19:49.8. Fellow junior Jake Passalugo finished sixth in 19:53.0 and sophomore Noah Johnson added a seventh-place finish in 19:59.6.

Freshman Ciara Clinton posted Siena's top women's 5K finish, placing ninth in 19:12.8.
