Final Stats
LOUDONVILLE, NY - In their final non-conference matchup, Siena Women's Lacrosse fell 20-5. Alexis Deaken extended her goal-scoring streak to 21-straight games.
Caitlin Breglia and Catlin Brown both led the Bulldogs (5-4) with five points coming off of four goals and one assist each. Lauren Britton tallied three goals and one assist while going 3-3 on free position shots and tallying eight draw controls.
Deaken and Annie Brennan led Siena (4-6) with two goals. Deaken tallied two goals, while Brennan scored one goal and dished out one assist.
Bryant opened the scoring but Kerry Gerety tallied a goal to tie it at one. Bregalia tallied her first goal of the game, but Deaken responded and tied the game at two. The Bulldogs then registered five unanswered goals to lead 7-2 with just over 13 minutes left in the opening frame.
Brennan scored on a free position shot, followed by a Deaken goal to put the Saints down 7-4. Bryant tallied two goals to end the frame and lead 9-4 at the half.
The Bulldogs rattled off ten unanswered goals through the second half to lead 19-4. Lauren Anglim scored on a free position shot to score the only Siena goal in the second half, while Bryant added a final goal on a free position with 13 seconds remaining to take the win 20-5.
Siena will host Canisius on Wednesday, April 4 at Siena Turf Field at 4 p.m.
