Saints Compete At Sam Howell Invitational

April 6, 2018

In a meet shortened to one day due to impending weather, Siena Track started the weekend off on the right foot at the Sam Howell Invitational. William Randall set the school record in the 3000m steeplechase.

Kibet took first place in the seeded 800m race and came out with a 1:50.91 time. The time was good enough for a outdoor personal record and was .04 off the school record, which Kibet set during the Indoor season.

William Randall competed in the 3000m steeplechase for the Saints and holds the school record in the event. He finished in a personal best 9:31.41 to take the record.

Sarah Forman set a huge personal record when she finished the 5000m in 17:18.87. The time is good for second fastest 5000m run in Siena history. Carolyn Pellegrini finished the race in 18:16.17, while Shannon Bauer came through at 18:26.38.

In the 1500m, Regina Rosati finished in a collegiate best 4:56.31, while Travis Fairlee set a time of 4:01.05. In the men's 5000m, Stosh Davis ran the race in 15:15.17.

The men's and women's track team will head to New Haven, Connecticut on Saturday, April 7 for the Mark Young Invite hosted by Yale. Meet begins at 12 p.m.
