LOUDONVILLE, NY - Siena Women's Soccer looks to build momentum in conference play when the Saints resume their MAAC schedule for good when they host Niagara at 3 p.m. The match will be webstreamed online at SienaAllAccess.com.

Siena (3-5-2, 0-0-1) enters play looking to snap a five-match winless streak (0-4-1) after having begun the season with the program's best start (3-1-1) in eight years. The Saints previously kicked off their MAAC slate with a scoreless tie vs. Quinnipiac Sept. 15, before closing out non-conference play with defeats at Villanova (2-1 in OT) and at Vermont (1-0).

Offensively, Siena has been led by a balanced scoring attack, as the team's eight goals have come courtesy of seven different goal scorers. Sophomore striker Jayanna Monds is the lone multiple goal scorer so far for the Saints, and paces the squad with six points. Defensively, junior goalkeeper Taylor Dorado ranks second in the MAAC with 51 saves. She was named the MAAC Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 17 for the fifth time in her career, matching the program's all-time record.

Projected to finish eighth according to the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, red-hot Niagara (6-2, 2-0) enters play riding a four-match winning streak in which they've outscored the opposition by an 8-1 margin. The Purple Eagles have not won five straight since 2008. Niagara has been paced by three-time MAAC Rookie of the Week Annie Ibey, who is tied for the MAAC lead with 14 points to lead a Purple Eagles' offense which ranks second in the MAAC in scoring (1.8).

Siena and Niagara meet for the 30th time in a tightly contested series in which the Saints hold a slim 13-12-4 all-time advantage. Siena prevailed with a 1-0 double overtime triumph last season on Monteagle Ridge, on a golden goal scored by Gabby Albano with just 62 seconds remaining.
