The Saints are bouncing back from a 5-12 season in 2018, and a 1-7 mark in the MAAC a year ago. However, the Saints return two of their top three goal scorers in
Annie Brennan and
Kerry Gerety. The duo combined for 62 points in 2018, as they look to top that mark in 2019. Goalie
Sammy Horton was a mainstay between the pipes for the Saints last season, as she played every second in front of the twine for the Green and Gold a year ago.
Siena was picked seventh in the MAAC preseason poll, garnering 24 points and a first place vote. The Saints will open up MAAC play at home on March 23 when they play host to Iona, the team picked just ahead of them in sixth in the preseason poll.
Fans of the Green and Gold won't have to wait long for the Saints to return home for their home opener, as the squad will face off against Army on Wednesday afternoon at Hickey Field at 3 PM.
